Oh my goodness! I haven't stamped in weeks (with the exception of prepping for a class a couple of weeks ago.) This was soooo much fun! I must say that I could have stamped for the rest of my life and and never have come up with this color combo on my own, but I really like the way it turned out. These challenges are great! I love cut away cards and the challenge was just the excuse I needed to take the time to make this. I had this idea floating around in my mind all day at work today.
Snowmen and mittens are embossed on Almost Amethyst CS using versamark and Bravo Burgundy classic ('cause I don't have it in craft) with HH EP (my fave for everything!) Then I painted them with bleach to make them almost white. Then watercolored with classic ink (Bravo Burgundy and Mellow Moss) and an aquapainter. Snowflakes around the edge are white craft ink and HH EP. Sentiment is colored with versamrker pen then burgundy marker, then embossed with HH EP. Moss BG piece is stamped with plaid in versamark, then trees in moss them snowflakes in white. Frame piece is raised on foam tape. This is really sparkly in person - may not show in scan. I think I got the ribbon idea from Lindsey (thanks!)
Sorry so long-winded. Can you tell that I'm really excited to upload something finally???!!!! Thanks for looking! Please join the challenges! Go to the challenge forum from the home page!

By far the best use of this set I have ever seen!!!! I always have trouble with those mittens and what you have done is adorable. Just darn cute but so much work. You should frame this!! Thanks so much for sharing this card!

Jami, beautiful work, as always. I LOVE the colors and the gingham around the "frame". Lovely!

And to think I haven't even used this set yet! How absolutely adorable and to think you make up your own craft pads. To think that I've been slowly collecting them for the last year!!! Thanks for sharing all your detailed instructions. Love, love, love this!!!
