Well - this Way To Use it challenge was a personal kick in the pants to get my scraps in order. They were all in a ziplock bag - a huge ziplock bag and now they are neat and organzied in one rubbermaid file container. I put 4 cs colors in each folder, plus a neutral, a whisper white/vanilla/glossy file, and a retired SU colors folder. The bag took about an hour to go through (see baby's tootsies/napping) and now I have all my scraps in one neat organized area.
Next step - shovel off the desk! Find QC's birthday present!

I have the same system only one folder for each color. I also put a color retangle on the folder along with the name. Seems to make it easier for me to find a color in a hurry. Must be something to do with left brain, right brain but I find it easier to alphabetize my colors, both scraps and regular size pieces, rather than by color families.

Good for you!! I keep my cardstock in an accordion file, one for each family of colors. The scraps go a file folder tucked in with each color family. I'm finally giving myself permission to throw away bits of paper. ...not all the rubbish on the table is too pretty to throw out.
