A friend's daughter got married yesterday and she had asked me to do a candle for her to give to her at the bridal shower last month. When I started to make it I had the invitation in hand, and well, the print company I think made a mistake on the color for the Cherry Blossoms, they actually on the invitation were Blush Blossom and not "pink" and the letter for Dani & Jeremiah's names were also in the Blush.. It SO did not show up when I transferred it to tissue paper and then the candle, you couldn't see their names!!
I showed my friend and said well let me see what I can find online for the fonts.. erm I sorta told a story to the printer that my niece like the fonts could they tell me what they were.. I know I know bad, but hey a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!! They told me then I asked for help here and TY TY ladies that helped me find them.. they were buggers to find.. And I found a Cherry Blossom with PINK .. I mean can you imagine.. pink??!?!?! what were they thinking LOL
so I sorta changed her blush to pink romance for the candle. And asked the photographer to send me a high quality photo to use.. which she did (she's friends with the groom .. lol)
I ended up then making 4 candles to give away.. one for the bride & groom, 1 for my friend & her own mom & then the grooms mom..
WHEW glad those are done LOL
And I think these have to be the best ones I've done yet.. even if I do say so & pat myself on my own back ;)

I agree with purpledebs27, I'd love to know how you transferred the picture of the cherry blossoms onto tissue and then adhered them to the candle! Truly beautiful!

For these I found some online that I liked, and saved the picture.. then sent it to the printer in the max quality. My system allows me to print in diff sizes.. 5x7, 8x10, 3x5 etc and it also allows me to print more than one...
You do the picture the same way.. when I put the tissue paper onto the copy paper I make sure it wraps all the way to the back and tape it down real good. I used this video as a tutorial to show how to adhere the tissue paper good.
(if that doesnt show, go to you tube and put in print on tissue paper or shimmybeancreations)
ALSO so the tissue paper doesnt have creases I ironed it .. Yes you can iron tissue paper.. Gotta LOVE youtube!!
