I am still playing around with some simple (read fast to reproduce) Christmas card ideas. I was inspired by Julie HRR's 2005 Christmas card where she stamped on white cardstock with no layers. I don't have the stamp set she used so I tried it with Gently Falling (one of my few Christmas/wintery stamps).
I kind of like the simplicity of the card but I am wondering if you think the received would be insulted (because of its plainness).

i think this card's simplicity is gorgeous!! and i don't think that the recipient would be offended, either! look at it this way...at least you took the time to make their card instead of just buying a boxes of cards & sitting down with your address list. great job!!

I love it! It's quick, simple and easy to make. I think it is beautiful the way it is but If you really feel like you need to add something to it, maybe you could cut it down a little and mount it on a 1/4 sheet of Bashful Blue. Wrap a little Silver cord around the top??

I think it's a beautifully simple card too. If you want to "jazz it up" have you thought about adding some shimmer to it? Maybe put some sparkle over the snowing part? Could add that extra bit of "pop" that you're looking for?
Also, did you do this on flat white paper, or the glossy? It could even give it more elegance if you do it on glossy...
