I know this may be morbid to some people, but my DH is an avid hunter and his b-day falls during his elk hunt. LOL
I want to re-do the rubber cement background. I made it have too much creamy caramel, but I need to go buy some more rubber cement before I do that!

I really like this card. My husband is a hunter too(which is great 'cause it costs almost as much as stamping) I love how you've used the metal tag like a scope, I'll definately be case-ing this one if you don't mind!

Oh, Of course you can CASE it!! I'd be honored! The scope is actually a peice of cardstock cut into a circle...not a tag. I just outlined it with a silver sharpie after the crystal effects dried. :o)

This is a fantastic card and you did masterful job balancing the elements....By the way, I don't think there's too much creamy caramel showing - the lightness highlights the central image of the elk - in fact, it draws the eye right to image in the crosshairs!
Awesome. My husband and I are both hunters. Hunting an Elk is my dream hunt. We actually have them in Michigan, but would prefer to go to Montana. This is one I would like to CASE also. I will now have to buy rubber cement. Thanks for sharing with us. Going in my favorites.

This is terrific! My DH is hunting right now and I'd love to make this for him!
Can you explain how you did the rubber cement background? Did you do one color at a time and wait for the rubber cement to dry between? I'm scratching my head over this...
