That is exactly how I did mine. The every other slot so it isn't wobbly like some people have said. Also I did it One low and started the next row up one. It helps me place the pads in and out. Yeah. All great minds. LOL TFS

LadyandtheStamp, If you put them in with the name of the stamp facing left they fit nice and snug. I can pick it up and move it to anywhere in the room without the stamp pads falling out. I would highly recommend this holder.

Thanks for posting this picture! I just ordered one of these lastnight because I hear so many people RAVING about them! It's nice to see how it'll look once I fill it up, and I love the idea of adding the color samples.
