I loved the card that JanTInk posted using this set and the liquid aplique. Unfortunately, I don't have any liquid aplique so I used the gingham to sew french knots onto the card to achieve a similar look using her great layout.

I'm totally awestruck! OK, I'm not a cross-stitcher or embroiderer, so I'm going to ask 2 dumb questions: Did you have to make 2 holes for the knots? Did you use a paper piercer?

What a GREAT card! The french knots and torn look is wonderful! I also saw this design, but it was in a current stamp/scrapbook magazine using this set with applique. I love your design!
