I finally got around to trying these--Luv 'em!! I had subscribed to a thread about a "no-waste" criss cross cards and needed a card for a swap I attended--so here it is.
It took some fiddling to get it how I wanted it, but I'm happy with the end result. This probably wasn't the ideal choice for a swap card though, as it took FOREVA to replicate this card 13 times!! I ran out of time and omitted the "belly band" and the 2 extra vellum flowers on the rest--sorry Utah gals!! I hope I made up for it by adding a personalized monogram brad to each card--each lady got their first name initial on their card.
It doesn't show well in the pic, but the scalloped edges are embossed as well as the edges of the ivory paper on the pull-out card. The vellum flowers were stamped with versamark then embossed in gold. Then I took a marker and colored on the back of the vellum in some sections. The top flower has a piece of Regal Rose CS backing it. I also ran the DP thru my cuttlebug, then sanded the raised parts and brushed it with my Regal Rose pad. FUN card to create!!
Thanks for lookin'!

Very girlie, love it! The pop flower, the dotty ribbon and the scallops along with the color scheme are fantastic. It does look like a lot of work. Great job.
