I sew way more than I stamp and I recommend Janome all the way. I have owned TOL Janome machines since 1990. They are built to last and are very user friendly.

Janome gets my vote. They are great machines, very user friendly, and require very little maintenance. I have 2 Janomes and have used just about every kind.

Family Dollar has the hardback ones 4/$1. I had been paying .77 for them at Wal Mart until I discovered the ones at FD. You can also get a roll of double stick tape for $1.
