All of the products used on this card are from Gina K. Designs - except for the silver cord and gray ink.
The penguin is from the “Sandy Claws is Coming to Town” stamp set, and I stamped him onto 80lb. Pure Luxury white cardstock using Black Memento ink. I’ve decided that Memento is my favorite ink when I use Copic markers because it doesn’t bleed and there’s no need to heat set it.
After stamping the penguin image, I used my Copic markers to color him; W-7, W-5, W-3, W-1, E57, YG85, B93 B95, & B97. I then stamped him onto a sticky-note to create a mask, cut him out and stuck it over the colored image. Using a sponge and some curved pieces of cardstock, I sponged the snow drifts using gray ink. For a little extra pop, I added liquid applique to his little hat.
The cardbase was cut from 120lb. Pure Luxury white cardstock and the main image was mounted with dimensionals.I stamped the words from the “Winter Foliage” stamp set onto scraps of 120lb. Pure Luxury white cardstock and mounted them with dimensionals as well. For the final touch I added some silver cord.
