The last card from the Fabric Card class (Sue Astroth). Inside will say (when I finish it) "we're quite a pair! you be Ethel and I'll be Lucy" (Wordsworth stamps). Adhere iron-on adhesive (light weight!) to the back of 2 pieces of fabric (as in 'fat quarters'?) then peel away the protective paper. Adhere 1 of these pieces to a piece of 70 lb "vellum finish" paper; adhere 2nd of these pieces to the other side of the paper, aligning to the fabric on the other side. Cut out your cards (size of your unfolded card). "Edge" on the sewing machine, starting and ending near the fold to minimize visibility of backstitching. Embellish as you desire. Class instructor had many many xeroxed copies of old photographs. This photo reminded me of the "Ethel & Lucy" stamp. The "Ethel & Lucy" stamp always reminds me of my friend & "cohort in crime at work", Lori... and we were quite a pair when we both worked for the same company. She has moved away. I'm sending this for her birthday.
