I used different stamps but I was inspired by a layout in PrincessinkÂ’s gallery for this card. After getting the border stamped I cut and tore paper to fit. The edges of the green were to perfectly cut so I just roughed them up with my thumbnail. I did the direct to paper technique on all torn edge layers and the card edge also.
The butterfly is embossed in black and colored with watercolor crayons. The roses are ink stamped and colored with crayons and stamp pad ink.
This is a part of a pack of cards to be given to a friend as a thank you for the set Wonderful Wings before it retired. What a great friend and gift!
