This is a Journal that I made for a very good friend who left for Scotland today. On opening the book, one page is for journaling and the opposite page is for saving a photo, theatre tickets, train tickets, etc. This was my first “book” attempt and so much fun!!! I’m already planning the next one. I used so many different embellishments, papers and stamps, please pm me if you would like to know the source of anything at all and I’d be happy to tell you. I’ve uploaded the Journal back to front so that the whole book will appear in succession.

WOWZA! This is amazing! What did this start out as... was it just a small binder that you overhauled, or did it start out sorta like it is now (on the outside), with just some embellishing and personalization needed? This is absolutely fabulous and your friend is one lucky girl!

After 11 years as a demo, guess I'm not so"new" anymore!

Thanks!! It's actually from a little kit I bought at Michael's. The outer cover is harder cs, but the inserts are just blank cards. The kit came with raffia, but I decided the rings, eyelets and ribbons would match nicer and would be more functional.

I looked at all the pages and had to come back to say this is amazing - beautiful work! I love the idea of having the journal ready before the trip rather than trying to remember afterwards. I am sure your friend will love using it! Thank you for sharing!
