I found this technique in norwaytroll's gallery.
1. You take a solid shape stamp (in this case a circle, but I have also just used a sponge) and stamp randomly on your white card stock in two or more colors (I used more mustard and old olive).
2. Then you stamp whatever image you want over that (ie. the leaf) in versamark and emboss with clear powder.
3. Then you brayer over the entire sheet with another color (I used pumpkin pie). This will color everything except where you embossed, thus the "emerging color" thru the embossed image.
4. You can stamp a BG over the top if you want. Here I used French Script in pumpkin pie.
