Our neighborhood has a tradition of "Boo-ing" each other. Usually there is a decorative item, filled w/candy and other treats. We came home this afternoon to find ourselves, Boo'd w/toothbrushes (we're pretty sure it's from our neighbors who is also our dentist.
Here's what I made to spread the boo to the next two families. I thought it was pretty cute. Filled it w/a ceramic Trick or Treat bowl and candy.

Just in case anyone wants to "Boo" their neighbors, here's the poem that comes w/the goodie bag. (You'll also need to make a sign for their door that says "BOO" so they don't get Boo'd again.)
I don't know the original author of this poem but, it sure is cute.
(Big Title at top) You've been Boo'd
The air is cool, the season Fall,
Soon Halloween will come to all,
The Spooks are after things to "BOO"
In fact, a spook brought this to you
On your front door is hwere it works
It wards off spooks and scary jerks
The treat that came with the cryptic note
Is yours to keep. Enjoy them both
The power comes when friends like you
Wil copy this and make it two
Then others here among our friends
Will give warm fuzzies that will not end
We'll all have smiles upon our faces
NO one will know who "BOO'd" whose places
Just one short day to work your spell
Or a big zap will strike your tail
And don't forget a nifty treat
Like something cute or something sweet
Please join the fun. Let's really hear it
And spread som "BOO's" and some Halloween Spirit
Happy Halloween!"
Then in the corner in small print it says:
Directions:
1. Enjoy your treat
2. Place your "BOO" sign on your front door.
3. Within 24 hrs copy this twice, make 2 treats and 2 "BOO" signs, secretly deliver them to 2 neighbors who do not have "Boo" signs.
4. Then watch and see how far the Halloween spirit spreads by Halloween.

Someone replied to my note in the Demo Forums that they "Elf" people. (Actually, they are "Elfing" one another in their neighborhood.)
TexasStampin had a great poem and Elf image to post on the door. I've got an old SU set of Elves that I'm itching to use. I plan on doing it Dec. 1st. It's going to be SOO fun to start this new tradition in our neighborhood.
