What I did a little different was to save the inside shape and place over the design and stamp with a background stamp. Also using a stamp positioner I lined the paisley design up after the frame came off and stamped in black for the guide, cleaned the stamp on a wet wipe and then stamped with Versa Mark on the card. This leaves just enough black to make a more prominent water mark.

This is absolutely wonderful. I think I'll try doing what you did for the border - it is very cool. I think you and emily are converting me to 'fine lace'.

Wow, Rox, this is great! I love how you masked the center to stamp the background stamp. And how clever of you to find a good use for how versamark brings back even a hint of color left on a stamp (usually a bad thing). You really took this technique and ran with it.
