For the background I started with glossy white CS. then I swiped (or you could stipple)some Bashful Blue along the top of card, leaving the bottom inch or so white. Then I sanded 1st one direction then the other with 100 grit sandpaper(Faux Linen). The trees were stamped in Handsome Hunter. I took a brown pencil and colored in the trunks (this little step makes a huge difference). I used Liquid Applique sparingly -real light touch -then heated to poof. The bottom part is vellum. Added some silver cord and it was done.
Make sure your darkest trees are in the front - lighter trees are done by stamping twice without reinking. So I stamp one in the front and then without reinking stamp another in the back. Sounds complicated but it is fairly easy. This is one of the easiest sets to work with.
