Sorry it doesn't show up very well in the photo. When using blue ink, it looks like a pretty sky to me. Here I used Baja Breeze. It doesn't quite match the blue in the Basic Grey Blush designer paper, but it was the best paper I could come up with for this focal image that had at least a somewhat Asian look to it.
The blossoms are colored with a blender pen and Rose Red ink. You can't see it in the photo, but for more dimension I colored them over with the Glaze clear pen and added sparkle to the flower centers with the quickie blue pen and gold glitter. Much prettier IRL.
The black layer that was punched with the scallop trim corner and border measures 4 1/4 inches square. The embossing on the gold square lattice folder layer is highlighted with the Brilliance Gold ink pad. The dragonfly is punched from black sparkle cardstock.
The scallop layer, the blossoms layer and the dragonfly are all on dimensionals.
This card is 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches.

I have that BG dp and have a dickens of a time using it. You have used it so effectively with your blocks of colour and that terrific cherry blossom image. What a lovely card! TFS

In case you didn't see it, this lovely card of yours was featured on one of the SCS gallery pages as a first stop. So glad it was showcased as I'm going to try this idea! TFS <3
