So, the story goes like this... hubs had the bright idea to take in all 6 pairs of his RX frames into the eye dr.'s and ask them to put his current prescription into them... So, when the CPA looked at our totals for Eyes last year he was like oh, what happened here... and so, I said it out loud... Pointing a finger at hubs I told him what he did... and the CPA muttered under his breath... I would have killed him... so, the writing on the wall is ... I STILL love him even when he does dorky things... this was partially inspired by this writing on the wall seen here. PS the older we get the more easier it is to do minimalist at home ('cept in the studio..) thanks for this challenge Audrie, & tfl.

OMGosh, Stacy! I love your story and you've creatively brought truth to your card. Poor hubs. They just never seem to get it. Glad you didn't do as your CPA suggested. I don't think you're able to upload cards in prison. I could be wrong since I've never been. This is a hoot. Let me know how he responds once it's in his hands.

This is so funny - funnier after reading the description! Could have been worse - he could have bought new frames too. At least it resulted in a really great card.

I love your card, and your description! IMO you hit home the core reason for the beautiful card artwork that we all do: to give to people so they know we care unconditionally! So your purpose not only made me smile, but encouraged me to prepare 10 cards to mail out today to friends and family! They all have written notes, and are stamped and ready to go to the mailbox! Thank you for inspiring me with your deeply inspired design!

Great story Stacey... Love how you incorporated it into your card as well.... The sentiment had me laughing because I've only seen bacon and chocolate for that pun so far. Awesome card my dear

I wondered about the glasses until I read your story. I'm glad you still love him, Stacy! ; ) Minimalist doesn't seem to work for your hubs; when it comes to the eyeglasses, anyhow! Lol Love the interpretation of your inspiration piece~
