My son brought over his girlfriend's daughter, 8 years old. She had never stamped before. I enjoy working with kids and watching their enthusiasm as they try new things and mixing colors is just so fun for them. We did stencil monoprinting from this tutorial by Lee Anne. She dug through my stamps for sentiments. This is always interesting because kids find stamps I've long forgotten I had or have never used. Thanks for stopping by.

Oh, I love the bg and that sentiment! I am now singing it! My granddaughter has a mind of her own, and goes through my stuff looking for something very specific, usually. The little girl did good. Glad you had a good time with her.

A friend's daughter has been coming over a couple of times a year to make cards with me - she's now 11 so is getting more and more accomplished. It's such fun to see her enjoyment of it. I love what your little friend did (and I love that sentiment - one of my Mum's favourite songs).

Great stamp, and she matched it perfectly with the monoprint. I bet she will always remember the day she made these! So special!

Oh, Nancy, what a precious gift you gave this 8-year-old girl - an opportunity to play with abandon and make such a beautiful background! Wow, and I know how much you are an encourager! And I love the sentiment, and how fun you discovered one you hadn't used in a while! Hugs, sweet friend, and I applaud you for the gift you gave this young gal!

Wow - this is amazing! I want that stamp! The colors and design on this are really great. I wish I could hang out with her and pick up some tips on this technique and her color/stamp selection process. Seriously - this is a wonderful card!!! Hugz
