This is for Stef's Color Challenge with floral for dessert. I only have markers and cardstock for the In Colors, so I looked for stamps with images I could color in or stamps I could use the markers directly on them. I found this 20 year old stamp set from 1997 that I once used frequently. The watering can is not in good shape with nicks and stains, so it didn't stamp very well despite repeated tries. Then I had the idea to splatter watered-down white acrylic paint on it. I did that and cut it out. And then I stamped the florals on a white panel, using the Lemon Lime marker on the eucalyptus stems, a Blushing Bride ink pad with Powder Pink marker on top for the floral sprays and Navy for the smaller flowers. Adhered the watering can on top. It is so big that the spout, bottom of can and handle extend past the panel. No sentiment until I use it. Fun card to make. TFL

This was one of my very first stamp sets, and I still have it! You did an awesome job bringing new life to an old set - great card, and great idea on the splatter look! TFS!!!

Such a sweet card Diane! I love the gorgeous floral bouquet and of course the delightful watering can. Isn't wonderful to pull out some of those old favorites and give them a little love? So glad you were able to join the color challenge this week!

Oh, this is so pretty Diane. I love your old stamps! Your idea of the splattering gives it a real country feel to your lovely card. The pink bow is a nice touch.
