For Carla's "Beautiful Music" WTUI challenge this week - you'll be able to find the full details HERE.
Ha, I wanted to go more traditional, classical with my second card but didn't realise that I'd ended up making them both in such a non-standard format. SU stamp stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with a mixture of Inktense and Polychromos pencils, then heavily sponged with distress inks and spattered with water. I distressed the edges and sponged them again with walnut stain. Added SN clear glitter pen on the swan (yesterday, how lovely, I saw four swans taking off from the river as I walked to my bus after work), Stickles on the butterfly, white gel pen dots on all the swirls and a ton of tiny Liquid Pearl dots. Added it to a scored white base.

Sabrina, your symphony is beautiful! Love the instruments, perfect with the longer card. Thanks for playing in my challenge and celebrating the beauty of music.

Sabrina, this is just gorgeous! The first thing I thought of when I saw this stunning card is, "make a joyful noise unto the Lord!" This card is just bursting with joy and happiness and so beautifully made in your classical style my friend. ~Karen.

Beautiful coloring and sponging on this pretty musical themed image, Sabrina. The scoring above and below the image adds such a great finishing touch. I need to remember to use my wheels ~ they have been sitting unloved for too long!

Sabrina, this image with the musical instruments along with a butterfly, dragonfly, and swan is beautiful! The score lines are lovely additions to encase the beautiful image on your card. I love the card size, which is perfect for the image. You did a great job using a wheel. It has been years since I've used one!

What a lovely image...love how they put the swirls and swans and dragonflies inbetween the instruments. Your coloring is lovely and the stickles etc are perfect.
I can't believe you saw 4 swans on the way home..how cool!
