This card is for today's MIX Challenge and the Free for All Challenge. This took forever to do and I have piles of stuff on and around my stamp table! Yikes! This would be why I seldom do the MIX Challenge. I end up with a big mess. I don't know if the scan will show the gorgeousness of the circle piece. I had a scrap in my box that was stamped years ago with a musical background, but it was dull looking so I jazzed it up. You can't see the musical notes anymore because i covered it with gold flakes, mica flakes, snowflakes and glitter. It does sparkle and shine. I cut this into a circle and layered it on some shiny gold card stock that I saved from a dumpster one day. I got this Christmas bird set for free on my Shop Hop expedition this summer and wanted to use this pretty bird. I stamped it on watercolor CS and then tried to watercolor it with my Twinkling H2O's which rarely see the light of day. I did not have the right shade of red, so I had to play around with mixing it . It's close. Greeting is gold embossed on my card which I wheeled with a music note wheel. I added a narrow gold strip to the edge of the card.

I hope you do a MIX challenge again, you are good with it! This is beautiful and rich with texture and sparkle. The embossed bg pieces add to the beauty of the mixed circle.

Wow, that circle is amazing and caught my eye straight off ...so rich and full of texture. Gorgeous. You should have made it detachable so that it could be turned into an ornament to keep!
