Quick card for my youngest daughter, Allie. She turned 24 today and I had to make her a quick card.
No time so took aluminum foil, swiped inks, splashed on water, dipped in paper, dried with heat gun, fussy cut, sponged with a bit of brown, slapped on card, painted stripes with left over ink, heat gun again, stamped butterflies and sentiment, cut triangles from left over inky paper, popped up, added stickles. Took less than 20 minutes.
Used the GDP192 as my inspiration since I had no time to think of an idea.
Many hugz,
Nancy

I love every bit of this rushed card...that just means in the steady hard of a master! Had to scroll back up as my eye caught a flash of sparkle and indeed the bottom of the cup is edged in shine! I adore the hand painted stripes...I need to be bold and give that a try...do you use a flat brush? &d turned 24 Sunday...we’ve been busy with parties thrown at his house this year as well as smaller family celebrations.
What is so heartwarming as banners? Love yours as well as the cute sentiment. HB to Allie.

This card is amazing and I can't imagine it was made that fast, I sure couldn't. So much detail going on and tho I have never used the aluminum foil technique I will have to, as it is so soft and well colored. wow, just amazing that you can make this so fast and get spectacular results. bet your daughter loved it! I LOVE tea cups /pots images and you really made this special. thanks for getting in my head this a.m., something else to try. haha Teresa p.s. thanks for nice comment on my Tea Party card for Carleta, appreciate it. : )

Sweet teacup and flowers...love their WFD watercolory look! They sit so pretty on that striped and bannered background with the lovely swarm of bitty butterflies!
