If you want to see a finished fish there is one in my gallery. Here are the directions.
Cut 1 fish and 1 fin out of CS or craft foam. stamp some type of texture/background stamp onto two old CD's (junk, recycled, mailer, aol, even new ones work) using stazon ink. Be careful stazon ink is slippery so you may want to practice a bit and always stamp on CD before assembling. I used crystal effects to glue it together, but have since learned you can use four glue dots on each CD and it faster, easier, less messy, and works just as well. You place the fish peice in between the CD's. Once dry, glue one googly eye on (or use glue dots now) let dry and then glue the second. If you don't wait for it to dry the eye will slide around and may not dry where you had intended it to. I laso recently found really LARGE googly eyes and they look a lot better. If you have used CS you will need to crimp the fin with the grain running up and down the long way. Then you can slip the fin through the hole. for craft I just folded it like a fan pushed through the hole and then let go. If you use CS you can punch a hole and use grosgrain ribbon. I used translucent thread and put it through the CD hole but you must put a knot right at the top if the CD. leave a long string so it can hang from the ceiling. I hope these are clear enough.
