A sweet friend sent me this flamingo stamp when she heard me complaining that I couldn't find any gaudy pink plastic flamingos to put in my back yard. I guess she thought these would be a GREAT substitute for several reasons: 1) my husband wouldn't secrectly get rid of them in the middle of the night; 2) my DD and her friends wouldn't re-arrange them in the yard when they play flamingo farmers; and 3.) it is a darling stamp!
I'm sending her this card as a thank you.
The flamingo stamp has 3 flamingos on it--I just stamped it 2 or 3 times to get the desired numbers of flamingos. I didn't like my FIRST attempt at the card, so I trimmed the cardstock and reused the stamped image and mounted it on black paper. The turquoise flamingo has a touch of stickles on it. I stamped the palm leaves twice and colored them with various shades of SU! green markers. I cut out one image, mounted it on pop-up dots and stuck it down at an angle.
