This is a card that went totally wrong, but I changed everything. It's hard to tell in the picture, but the rose, brads, wire are all in silver. I embossed the rose on vellum, planning to use it as an overlay, but it obsured the stamp underneath it. Then I thought I would try to make a peach colored rose, by coloring on the back side of the vellum, but it came out looking kind of rusty looking. So I just worked with it from there. The only SU! things on this card is the Creamy Carmel paper at the back, the vellum, the stamps and the silver wire. Everything else is non-SU!. The little jar I filled with silver and wood beads.

What a save!!! This is gorgeous. The depth that the velum gives is part of what's so wonderful on here. I'm loving what the scanner did even more - a gilded, autumn sunlit rose and matching embellishments! I'm seeing what the embossing did so I might try this with Liquid Pearls (irridescent squirt paint) on the rose petals' edges and on the brads! I love your background paper, too. How to duplicate THAT??? A new favorite card!
