Autumn is my favorite season, so I had to do an Autumn card. With the veined stamps, the technique doesn't show up quite as well in the picture, but is pretty darn cool in person. Note that the acetate is mounted on Ultrasmooth White card stock.

Thank you ladies, for all your wonderful comments. Gee, this place sure is good for one's ego!
I followed the directions to make this card by printing out the "acetate and tissue" technique on this site. Click on "resources" at the top of this page and just scan down the column until you find it.

I e-mailed laurap and thought of some additional hints that I want to pass on based on my first experience using this technique.
I think the only thing I added was to mount the acetate (after it is thoroughly dry) on white card stock. I tried it on different colors and it showed up much better on the white. Also, start out with your acetate sheet maybe a quarter to a half inch bigger than you need so that you can trim a little off all sides when it dries. I also found when "smooshing" the tissue paper down that it went much more easily if I wet my finger. Sorry to gross you out, but saliva worked really well. hehehehehe
Oh, I just thought of something else. Go easy with the reinkers. You can always add more, but it is difficult to work with if you get too much. If you have a "tissue bubble" that won't smoosh, stick it with a pin.
Here is the link to my gallery so you don't have to search. I have two of these cards that I posted at the same time, but they showed up on different pages of the day's postings. They are next to each other in my gallery.
