This is a simple sketch for the mini slide mount books. I used a larger size, and made sure they were the paper ones that you press together to seal. I painted the outside and let it dry. I then took fabric and cut it into 4" x 1" strips.
I then layed all the slide mounds face down, and open, and end to end. I glued (hot glue) a fabric strip on one edge of a slide, and then glued the other edge of the fabric strip to the edge of the adjoining slide, thus connecting the two slides together. I did this for all the slides. When I reached the end of my 4 slides, I closed all the open slides like an accordian book. I had one last strip of fabric which I used to close the back of the book. You glue it to the two end flaps. It also covers the other strips of fabric, creating a back binding so it looks nice. You then slide the pictures in the top, and squeeze the slide mounts closed to hold the picture in place.
