Using a brayer in Classic Only Orange Stamp Pad, ink your Canvas Background stamp (Use a background stamp that has a dense image, if it's to sparse, you won't get the effect you want) making sure you have complete and full coverage of ink on the background stamp. ( I use a rubber brayer to insure good coverage. I've found that by tapping the stamp pad onto the background, I get marks from the pad edge). Now take the solid image flower from Love Without End and press onto the background stamp (be careful not to move or shift the stamp, as you will blur your image) pick up and "huff", then stamp - this will brighten the color and make more vibrant. Clean and dry your flower between every image, so it won't muddy. I've found that I can get 6 images from the background when I use the flower, before I have to re-ink it. I stamped the "love" centers in Real Red and punched them out using the 1/2" punch, then mounted with dimensionals. I punched out the "friends" using the 1/4" punch and mounted with mini glue dots. Add eyelets and ribbon and you are ready with a great WOW card. Another great way to use your background and two step stamps!
