Doing southwestern type cards is a real departure from what I normally do. This was a fun technique where I just spread Liquid Applique with my finger on the round piece. The round piece was already notched for the thread. Background was chalked with rust, teal and brown.

Tried to PM you, Dee, but the system wouldn't let me do it yet. One of their glitches. The precut notched paper is called Stringers. It is a trademarked product so if you search the internet you might be able to come up with it. I purchased it at a stamp convention. The same booth had a bow helper and lots of cute rivets. Ann :-)
