Just like many other "toys" I have to remember to get them out and play with them occasionally. I also found myself using black only for stamped images until I poke myself to get out those ink pads...

I did a card with tiny red berries and I used clear micro beads, put them in a baggie and colored them with red reinker. Have to let them dry spread out ( I used my no stick mat), they worked great...

Consider the cost of the refills when deciding which one to buy. I have the 250 and love it for small items. The X seemed a bit too small for me. Most larger cutouts are easier (and less expencive)...
