I got a scanner from Walmart cannon I think. It was under 100 and works like a charm. I would highly recommend buying one. I use for scanning regular pictures into my computer to e-mail as well.

Hi, I'm pretty new at this too. I started with the basics that were not SU either. When I finally started into SU I looked at the stamp sets I had then decided what colours would go well with them....

I would definately say the coloured eyelets, brads, buttons, ribbons. It can make the cards you have now step it up a bit!! Taking advantage of the 1/2 price stamp sets wouldn't be a bad idea too...

Is there any other way to attach vellum to a card other than brads and rivots? If you use just the tape it seems to show through. Ideas??
